Trillium HomeCare Nurses
Having a nurse meet with the client initially to discuss services is an important feature of Trillium HomeCare.  Nurses have had extensive training in assessing the needs of clients, particularly those of the elderly population.

Trillium HomeCare Hiring Process
Trillium HomeCare hiring processes are designed to screen for qualified and compassionate caregivers.  All of our caregivers have a minimum of 1 year experience and are bonded and insured.

The caregiver screening and hiring process includes:

  • A ten panel drug screening test
  • Criminal background screening
  • Reference checks
  • Personal interviews by two members of Trillium's staff

Once hired, our caregivers go through an extensive training process which describes the high quality of service that Trillium HomeCare provides to its' clients.  

Client/Caregiver Orientation
In order to orient the client to the caregiver, during the first meeting, Trillium HomeCare office staff personally introduces the caregiver to the client and their family.  This helps for a smooth start of care for all parties.  
Trillium HomeCare also provides a Mentorship Program to new caregivers - when a new caregiver is assigned to a case, Trillium HomeCare will schedule that caregiver to work with an established caregiver to help the new caregiver understand the household routine.
